The sea

We were hijacked by Paulo and Lucia, Megan’s dear sweet friends, after the beatification! They wisked us off to the sea, where legend has it that Megan’s lover waits for her, calling out her name. We had too much fun, listening to loud Italian-American music and laughing as Paulo and Lucia and Megan caught up on life and just generally enjoyed each other. They took us to lunch at a gorgeous Oceanside seafood restaurant, where we had mussels and calamari and shrimp and baby squid! All simply delicious, the company most of all.
