Wine tasting

Chris officiated at our mock wine tasting one night! It was my first, and my palate is sadly underdeveloped. However, having both Chris and Charlotte there was so wonderful, because they could really tell us everything about the wine, and they were so funny and passionate, and so kind to share their wealth of vino knowledge with us. 

 

 

We started the tasting with a blend of Alicante grapes and Sangiovese grapes, and then we moved on to the Sacromonte, which is 100% Sangiovese, and we tasted 3 different vintages; the 2005, 2006, and 2007. We finished our tasting with the Pinot Noir, the Piropo, which is very fruity and fun.
We were instructed to just say whatever came to mind when we were tasting, and you should’ve heard some of the things we came up with! Desert, the forest at sunset, and swimming pools, to name a few. :) Needless to say, we laughed the night away!
